Aww man there is just too much cuteness here! And the way you drew those feathers is really interesting. You really manage to get the whole wing structure without actually drawing in every feather. I love how traditional it looks. I'm curious, do you ever work with watercolours traditionally?
Thank you! I had fun with the colors on this, they remind me of a soft, cool winter sunrise!
Actually, I've done watercolor and pastels traditionally in the past, but I prefer to work mainly from a digital format for the clean finish that photoshop offers. Plus, there's the extra control and manageability of being able to work with colors on different layers, and get rid of obvious mistakes without ruining the finished picture. : D
THat it does actually! Except that the characters don't look like they're freezing like I am now XD
Ohhh, i just stalked you, and managed to find a pastel landscape with a tree that you'd done. it was really pretty! What you say makes sense though, I quite like the lack of control that traditional has, but thats just different artists with different preferences XD And its undeniable that this method works exceedingly well for you.
Oh my gosh, I absolutely LOVE this! I love how Faix looks in your style, and I love how you drew her wings, too! Again, I love the pastel colors (pastels are my favorites)! I really love her vulnerable expression and I love how this looks like a watercolor painting.
Faix looks so elegant and pretty, too, just as she did in the last pic you drew for me! I also love the lines, too. ;u;
I love the winter weather, too, and it really suits Faix since she's from Alaska! This is perfect! Thank you so much!! ;u;
OH my gosh, no thank YOU for having me draw Faix again! Like I said before, I'd never get sick of drawing her, she's just simple and charming, not too much, not too little going on, which makes her so adaptive to any scene choose to draw her in! I'm so happy you liked my interpretation of her cold, wintery home! I thought her and the fragile new flowers together would be neat and delicate-looking! I'm so glad you liked it!
PS- are these plz accounts not the best and cutest on DA? <33
